The Lewis Family

Allen Lewis, as many of you have known as "coach", went home to be with the Lord this afternoon January 22, 2015 with his most loved ones by his side. Allen was diagnosed with a rare esophageal cancer December 2013 and fought a hell of a fight and in my opinion he won. Allen was a coach and teacher at Mcloud High School for approximately 36 years where he was also an Alumni. He had passion for sports and loved life to the fullest. He took many kids under his wing and became their mentor. Allen was also a great husband to Gina Lewis for 35 years. They had a bond that nobody could break. They were best friends. They have 2 children, Tearon and Kita. They raised two amazingly driven, well-mannered, respectful kids, now successful adults. Allen was also a papa with 3 grandchildren: Tryce, Taycee, and Tatum. They will miss their papa dearly and days wont be the same for them for a while. Allen had a daughter in law that he loved as his own. Christeena cared for Allen day in and out and was his best advocate even when it hurt the most. Allen had a passion for life that many of us can only hope to have and live. He will deeply be missed by many. May his memory live with us for the next days, weeks, months, and years from now. This is set up for the Lewis family to help with any of the costly expenses that will be accrued in the next weeks and months from now.
