Kota's ACL Surgery

Kota Knutson has been an athlete her entire life. She spends most of her days training at Compound Crossfit with her little brother Axel, her Dad Ryan, and the many friends and family she has acquired in her short 5 years on this planet.  Kota is a sprinter, wrestler and multi-time tug of war champion. Like most athletes, Kota has had moments of overtraining and "forgetting" to take a rest day. Kota doesn't understand the benefits of active recovery after a long leg day!  Recently, Kota and Axel were playing outside with their cousins Missy and Scotch.  After a long day of mud wrestling, squirrel sprinting and jumping for joy - Kota's slight limp (a result of a previous puppy injury) became noticeably worse. After taking it easy for a few days, Kota's soreness seemed more like an injury, so Dad-Ryan took her into the Vet.  The Orthopedic Specialists diagnosed Kota with an ACL tear that would likely impact both hind legs. Her quality of life after surgery is looking great - the cost - well that's why we are here.  It's hard to prepare for a sudden injury expense like this especially when Doggy Insurance won't accept her since she had a prior incident when she was just a pup. The cost of the surgery is $3,500.00 and we have set up this page to support our fellow Gym Mascot in hope's to ease the financial burden on her parents, Ryan and Jess.  No donation is too small, $10 bucks for all of Ryan's Facebook Friends alone would actually pay for it.  Thank you all for your Donations and Support for our Furry Friend Kota Knutson!
