<div>Many of you will know that Korrie Calder has EDS (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome), a condition that affects her muscles and means her shoulders are often  out of joint, and the Doctors struggle to put them back into place and keep them there.   It’s uncomfortable and very painful.  Apart from the pain and discomfort, her quality of life is well affected.  But there’s finally some good news — she now has the chance to have a specialist operation in the USA that can help fix the current problem and hold one shoulder in place, which will make a huge difference to her quality of life.

<div>The surgery itself costs around £30,000, and with flights, accommodation, and  follow-up appointments, plus the trips she’s already had to make for consultations, the total is closer to £50,000.
