Many of you know my Kori.
In Jan. of this year, she got the flu - it went to her heart and caused severe damage putting her into Stage 3 Heart Failure. She is on 8-10 meds daily and recently had bi-ventricular pacemaker surgery. At some point during most days, she is in severe pain and it is so hard for me to see her like that. Fortunately, work insurance was excellent but coverage was only paid for the first 3 mos. We are now faced with an out-of-pocket expense of $620./mo to continue coverage. We are in the midst of the lengthy process of Long Term Disability. I've created this GFM page to hopefully raise funds to help cover this financial hardship for the first 6 mos so she can continue to get the best care. A lot of you who know my wife remember her hand painted Christmas cards & boxes and someone who is always sweet & kind to everyone. We will all hope and pray that she improves and can avoid the heart transplant list. Thank you all - we sincerely appreciate your support.
