Korean Culture Night
Korean Culture Night (KCN), hosted by Hanoolim, has taken place at UCLA since 1992. KCN aims to unite the diverse student body of UCLA and the Los Angeles community to present a night of Korean/ Korean-American culture and showcase its unique nature. KCN originally started off as a small talent show and has now grown to be one of the largest student-run productions in the United States. KCN was able to exhibit rapid growth by the collaboration of various students’ talents, dedication and hard work
of the staff, and its partnership with UCLA. We hope to showcase a multicultural gathering that aims to educate and inform audience members of certain Korean cultural elements through performance, music, and entertainment. We would like to continue performing, but depend on YOU, the community, for help! It takes at least $40,000 to put on our awe-inspiring show, and any amount of appreciation helps us share the unique story of the Korean American experience.
