Kopper

Donation protected
Hello everyone, I never thought in a million years I’d have to do this. I went to the vet on December 20th with kopper because he wasn’t getting up and was incontinent. The vet tested him for Parvo and drew blood to be sent out. The results came back negative for Parvo and tick borne disease but he was low in neutrophils and anemic. They hospitalized him for 3 days and his temperature finally broke. I was able to take him home and he has been on 10 pills a day for a tick borne disease since then. This morning he wasn’t eating or moving and had a temperature of 106.5. So I rushed him to our first vet who was just going to restart what they had previously done saying that sometimes this happens with tick borne diseases. I wasn’t getting answers so we went to a different emergency vet where they started another catheter and iv with different antibiotics and are running multiple other tests. For now, they are hospitalizing him for 48 hours and will go from there. My heart is in pieces. That’s the most recent update as of now. The vet bills are now over 5,000 dollars. I truly believe I can’t and will not give up on him. I appreciate all your guys support throughout this process. Please keep sending positive thoughts!
