Koopman Family Memorial Fund

Donation protected

With the permission of Joe's wife Chelsey, an official donation page has been set up in his honor.

Joe Koopman passed away in an automobile accident on Friday May 17th.  Joe is survived by his wife Chelsey, and his three daughters Abigail(12), Mya(3), and Mataya(20 mo.).

Joe is a Veteran of the Us Army and was deployed twice.  One for Iraqi Freedom in 2005 and again for Operation New Dawn in 2011.    Joe was an avid Vikings fan, and a great family man.  He was a person who would do anything he could to take care of his wife and his daughters.  Despite his own service connected medical issues, Joe worked full time to provide for his family.  Joe always provided joy and a sense of humor for his family.  Joe also enjoyed fantasy football and recreational volleyball.

Along with dealing with the unexpected loss of Joe, Chelsey is left to raise their children on her own.  This would be hard enough as it is, however, one of their daughters has significant life-long medical issues which require ongoing trips to Children's and Gillette Medical Centers.  As a result, this makes it extremely difficult, if not impossible,  for her to provide care and work at the same time.

Joe was an amazing man who served his country and his family with honor.  We set up this page to honor and help support his family.  Any donations for this family are greatly appreciated.  Also, please keep this family in your prayers.
