Konrad Meier Memorial Fund

Thursday December 27th, 2018 Konrad Meier was welcomed into the arms of our Heavenly Father.  He was the most loving husband, adoring father, and selfless person to everyone. He moved to the United States from Germany in 1986 with ambition to return home or move to another part of the world. After meeting Kathleen, who would become the love of his life, all of his plans changed and together they made Pittsburgh home. They started a family and although they lived in several states, Pittsburgh was always home. Konrad's passion for food and entertainment was what defined him as a person. He loved it so much. He always said cooking gave him peace. He had an amazing sense of humor and his quick wit was loved by all. The loss of Konrad will not just be felt by his immediate family, but by all who knew him. To know him, was to love him. 

Donations will be put towards funeral expenses not only here, but also to take Konrad home where he can rest in peace with his 10 brothers and sisters and their families in Germany. We thank you all in advance for your generosity and love. 

Family and friends will gather at the Frank F. DeBor Funeral Home on 1065 Brookline Blvd. on Wednesday January 2nd from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday January 3rd at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas More Church in Bethel Park.
