Konoba Huntington Live Music Tip Fund

Before the current situation, as many of you know, we used to host live music every Thursday evening, featuring local acoustic guitar musicians.  Local musicians such as Joe Latini, Mark Bateman, Mike Dorio, Toby Tobias, Damir Radov, to name a few, were frequent guests at Konoba Huntington, and before that, Bin 56 Wine Bar.  We would like to be able to do this again as Huntington could use it.  Donating to this fund would allow us to bring back some of our musicians and compensate them fairly for a special, socially distanced performance that adheres to all guidelines.  Donate whatever you want, consider it a tip for the musicians.  We are still allowed to listen to music and be outside six feet apart wearing masks and sit in our private vehicles.  Our plan would be to set up a pop up tent in front of the restaurant, rope it off to ensure the socially distanced safety of the musicians, and you would be able to watch the performance from your car, taking advantage of the ample parking presently available on Gerard Street.  Or you could stand and watch it as long as you are six feet away from any person that does not reside in your household.  We would obviously be open for take out and pickup service and so you could purchase food and beverage and we could even bring it to your car.    As the weather improves, and if this makes sense, we would like to do this multiple times per week and believe it could provide a valuable boost to morale in a village that is hurting.

Mike Dorio, Thursday 5/21, 5:30PM to 7:30PM
Joe Latini, Friday 5/22, 5:30PM to 7:30PM
Damir Radov, Saturday 5/23, 5:30PM to 7:30PM
