Konah's Polycystic Kidney Disease

I’m helping my fellow church member and friend, Nancy Saye, who is seeking financial help for a medical procedure for her brother Konah Parker, who lives in Liberia.
Recently Nancy approached the pastors regarding Konah’s condition: he suffers from PKD, or Polycystic Kidney Disease, a chronic, incurable condition that causes kidney cysts to continually form and grow. These cysts are numerous and large, continually growing and disrupting organ functions, as well as causing Konah high blood pressure, and eventually acute pain. Konah last had the cysts surgically removed in 2014, which greatly improved his quality of life, but they have returned and he suffers.
Nancy requests help with the cost of Konah’s surgery travel from Liberia to Bangalore, India, and rental housing in India during his recovery phase. This surgery is too costly in Liberia. My pastor has received a surgery estimate from healthcare provider Fortis in Bangalore. The doctor indicated that Konah would need to remain in-country for 10-15 days for post-op procedures and follow up visits. The hospital’s international relations agent would assist in finding temporary housing in an apartment near the hospital at a rate of $775 a month, and he should stay for 3 months. The flight itinerary from a travel agent estimates the flight at $2000. A few months’ stay is cheaper than recurring airfare for the follow-up visits.
Over the past 4 months Nancy has raised only a fraction of the needed amount and is distressed that her brother is in pain. Please help us to raise the remainder by the end of July 2017. And please say a prayer for Konah while he waits patiently.
