Kolyn's Go Fund Me

On October 12th, 2017, our friend and colleague Kolyn Jones underwent her second major cardiac surgery to replace her aortic valve and root.  During the valve replacement Kolyn suffered a significant stroke with the road to recover beginning a few weeks post surgery.  Kolyn faces a significant battle ahead to achieve full recovery.
Two months later, Kolyn has spent each day trying to improve upon the prior one undergoing intense in-patient therapy with the goal of getting well enough to return home. That day is nearing although intense therapy will continue as well as the need for home support from both her mom and husband. Additional care beyond that of family is also needed and unfortunately insurance doesn’t fully cover all the needs.  We would like to ask for your donation/assistance to help offset the cost and expense of the intense therapy and care needed to help Kolyn achieve independence as well as full recovery.  Our goal is to raise $25,000 which will help support her recovery as well as pay for the therapy and care she needs over the course of the next several months.
Kolyn is a friend to many of us as well as a devoted wife, mother to two small children, sister and daughter.  Kolyn is a fighter that will get through this enormous obstacle with her family and friends by her side. As her husband writes, Kolyn is “strong, very determined, optimistic and brave”.  She will continue to progress and improve with each passing day and our hope is that she can continue to stay 100% focused on her recovery.
