Recovery Fund for Gina Newson

Donation protected
Gina came home with her three-year-old son, Christopher, on Wednesday to the smell of smoke in her apartment. When the fire alarms went off a few minutes later, she evacuated the building with him and her six-year-old son, Sean, just to be safe. By the time they got outside, she could see the flames, and before long the buidling was fully engulfed in them. Although she and her boys are all safe, they have lost their home and all their possessions except for the clothes on their backs.

Until they find more permanent accommodations at which to receive physical donations, cash is the most practical way to help so that they have the flexibility to get what they need as soon as they need it. Things like school uniforms, personal items, food, and funds for rental deposits and other legal and insurance matters all require cash and will be needed in the short term. Any amount will help them get back on their feet again and start to rebuild.

Thank you in advance for your contributions and not only helping to rebuild a home, but helping to reinstill hope where it is very much needed.
