Koda the BC x ACD Needs a Hip Operation

Koda is a 2-year-old Border Collie x Stumpy Tail Cattle foster dog of mine. He has had a rough start to life as he found himself on death row at such a young age! He was saved but he can’t seem to catch a break. He recently dislocated his left rear hip which was put back into place but shortly after, it dislocated again leaving him requiring urgent surgery.

His operation is scheduled for Tuesday the 31st of December 2019 as that is the earliest the operation can be scheduled for. The quote provided by the vet is $2.5k which is to reconstruct his ball and socket joint and repair any damage they may find to his ligaments. The funds raised will be used purely to pay the vet bill.

Koda is a beautiful, loving and affectionate boy. Once he has recovered from this operation, the process of finding him his perfect forever home can resume again and hopefully he starts his forever chapter.

I would be so grateful and appreciative to be able to raise these funds to pay for the operation. Given it is just after Christmas, it is a very challenging time financially. I am sure Koda will also be forever grateful for the funds so he can have the operation and go on to have a pain free and much more enjoyable life. Thank You.
