Hey, here's an update on Shaun's health. He has a rare genetic kidney disorder Acute TMA that takes a very spendy drug to save his life and that means he's out of work and were driving back and forth to anchorage weekly for life saving infusions.

It has laid dormit in his body for 45 years. We really dont know why it reared its ugly head now, but luckily in the last 5 years they created that drug to save him. Few years back, whole families died. However his kidneys have extensive damage(kidneys dont fix theselves) and dialysis isnt off the table. He isnt dying on me anymore. No iv meds. We see major improvements since the first dose was given. Now were on dose 4 and the numbers are going down and he seems a little better at times, definitely not the iron giant he usto be. He has to learn to rest and go slow for nowand control his BP.We are both still out of work rn. We have been blessed in this in so many ways, people caring for us, offer up their homes, visiting evem driving hours to do it, taking care of our daily life task not being done, dog care, beds to sleep in, food to eat, reminders so I dont go nuts, cat care, plant care, fish care, ozzy care, ppl want updates and caring enuf to ask, people have handed me money when I didnt know I was guna need it, ppl have done my laundry and brought special food for Shaun, we have been able to use air mattress blankets and pillows, people have driven hours to bring me a bag I forgot. It's unreal the blessings that have been pouring in and without them, idk how I would have made it this far. If you can help, great, if you cant, I understand that! Please pray for Shaun, while the meds appear to be working. The insurance and the hospitals dont want to pay for his life saving medicine so now it's fight insurance time. All while in the middle of a governmental shut down thats affects us other ways...sigh. this is only a temporary lesson and we got this!!!
