Our beautiful Chloe Louise was taken from us in a road accident on Saturday, 7th November 2015 in Geraldton WA. Her baby boy, Kobi, sustained only minor injuries in the accident which sadly happened five days before his first birthday.

Chloe, an amazing mother, daughter, sister, girlfriend and friend had that one-in-a-million, beautiful soul. It could be heard in her laugh, seen in her smile and at 23 she left a mark that we will cherish for eternity.
Her son, Kobi, was born 12 weeks premature in November 2014 and spent his first 3 months at King Edward Memorial Hospital in Subiaco. Chloe never left his side and affectionately called him “Mummy’s little hero”. Born with fibula hemimelia, Kobi’s left fibula, ankle and foot bones aren’t developed and he requires ongoing treatment. Whilst there was the very real possibility of amputation, we fundraised funds to get Kobi to the Paley Institue in America where on the 26th of Novmeber 2016 he underwent life changeing surgery of getting his leg lenghtened 5cm, and ankle reconstruction. and spent 3 months over in America.
he then returned to Australia fro another 3 months before returning to America for a second surguery to get his fixator removed.
Once Kobi returned to Austalia he had phyiso and swimming weekly to strenghten muscles in his legs and get movement back.
we send x-rays to Dr paley in America every 3 months and he just informed us that Kobi is able to undergo his second leg legnthening in a year from now!
We’ve been overwhelmed by the support in the last 2 years and have set up a Facebook page so you can follow Kobi’s story, our fundraising efforts and more importantly, so we can thank all those helping us along the way. We wish this story was different. We wish Chloe was writing this for her little hero. Our family is missing one bright star, our beautiful Chloe xoxo.
