Ethan is a percussionist. What makes him so unique? Ethan plays drums on his iPad because he has significant physical limitations based on a genetic disability - Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
Ethan has been planning to go on a band trip to New York City with his high school band for two years. He has been fundraising and has almost come up with all of the money he needs to pay for his way. We are committed to paying the $580 it costs for his dad to go as a helper as well.
The complication is that because of his complex medical issues, he requires 24-HOUR NURSING CARE. The only way that Ethan can still go on the trip is if we also come up with the money for two nurses to go on the trip with him ($580 each).
Any help that can be given to assist so that he can still go on this trip, would be greatly appreciated. Because of his health-related issues, this is a trip of a lifetime for him! Please consider helping him out.
