K.O. Cancer for Annie

On January 5th,  2018, my mother- in-law, Annie Bailey was diagnosed with Metastatic Peritoneal Carcinomatosis ( cancer of the abdominal lining).  The numbers showed that the cancer was at stage 3.  She began chemotherapy on Monday,  January 15, and will have treatments once a month until the cancer is knocked out.  The payments for the chemo alone are $3,300.00/month, and another $1,400.00/treatment for nausea medicine.  There is a newer treatment that the doctor wanted to use also but has been denied by insurance that is less  harsh and more effective.  It is at least $4,000.00 a treatment. The protocol will probably include surgery then further chemo treatment after surgery.   On top of this, she may not be able to maintain her livelihood for the duration of treatment and unknown medical costs are sure to appear the further along in this cancer battle she gets.
