Hello Family and Friends,
I have decided to embark on a journey that will allow me to fulfill one of the many purposes I have on this earth: providing service to others. During my Spring Break (March 22-28) I will be traveling to Fusagasuga, Colombia with my fellow classmates and Every Nation Ministries to provide medical services and support to the community.
At Meharry Medical College, our Mission is to Worship God Through Service To Mankind. I intened to uphold this mission in every aspect of my life, starting with my trip to Fusagasuga.
As a victim of Hurricane Katrina, I understand the importance of mission organizations, churches, health professionals, and volunteers. It was their generous acts of kindness that allowed my family and I to put the pieces of our lives back together. I hope to provide those same acts of kindness that was given to me so many years ago.
I need your help in fulfilling this purpose. The cost of the trip exceeds my medical student budget, however, I won't let money be the deciding factor. Any kind donation, prayers, and words of encouragement would be greatly appreciated!
