Knox Bryant Vehrs

Hello, my name is Knox Bryant Vehrs. I was born on Sept. 7th at 2:41am and weighed 6 lbs. 8 oz , 18 1/2” long. My parents prayed a long time for me and were so excited to find out I was coming but they began to worry when they found out my heart wasn’t forming like it should. I was diagnosed with an extremely rare chromosome issue causing me to not only have a congenital heart disease, but also breathing, hearing and vision problems.
Shortly after birth, I was transferred to Children’s Hospital in Columbus where my mommy and daddy, Elizabeth (Barnhisel) and Keith Vehrs, are making sure I get the best care and all the love possible.
I am with the best doctors and nurses monitoring my brain, heart and respiratory system. I’ve made a lot of progress, but have a long way to go.
I know many of you have asked how you can help, of course prayers are the best but if you’d like to donate as well it is appreciated. You can also help by attending my benefit dinner on November 18 at 1:30pm at the Hancock County Fairgrounds.
Thanks for all the love and prayers!
