Know Your Rights Clinic 2020

In the wake of recent events, clinics all around the United States have arisen to provide legal help and information to migrant communities. Often, legal resources come at high costs that are unattainable for those who need it. We are fundraising to set up one of these clinics in the cities surrounding Claremont, CA in February of 2020.


Migrant communities are often subject to exploitation, threatened to believe that they have no place in the United States. Our group, Know Your Rights, is here to assure them that they belong here. We aim to provide information so that these communities can live their lives prepared for the possibility of eviction, labor discrimination, or deportation.


Know Your Rights was established a few years ago and is run by students from the Claremont Colleges. We are dedicated to creating a welcoming environment in and around Claremont for everyone to feel safe and at home.


If you can, consider donating this to make this clinic possible. If not, you can help us by seeking a volunteer position or sharing this fundraiser on social media. Donations will help pay for catering, printed resources, and facilities on the day of the clinic.
