Brenda Kay Robison (Robinson) of Montrose
Brenda (57) and her husband George (58) were on their way to see their daughter Chelsea, and her family in Colorado Springs for the holiday. A semi failed to negotiate a curve in the road, took Brenda's life and George is now in critical condition. A minister's salary is slim. George and Brenda have always been more concerned with helping others, and teaching people about Jesus than material wealth. We are praying for funds to help cover George's medical expenses and loss of salary, along with Brenda's funeral expenses. The degree of George's rehabilitation has not been determined, as he is still in ICU.

George fell in love with Brenda forever in about 1979. He never had to work so hard! In his laid back-I'm cool days, he let her slip away when she tired of waiting for him and went on a lengthy mission trip. When she returned, he waited with roses, a ring and on a knee. She was the wind beneath his wings, the angel watching over him and the love of his life. Brenda was like a kindred spirit to my mom. They connected in a way I could never ever connect to Mom. I always said she was the daughter Mom never got...
Brenda has always been an inspiration to all those around her. Sometimes, I admit, I was jealous that anyone could be that much like Jesus. Her light for the Lord shines brightly still for all who knew her and continues to share God's love. She leaves behind strong Christian children ( Alec and Chelsea) their spouses (Heather and Kevin) and grandchildren (Jaxon, Wyatt, Evelyn, Malcom and Peyton due in February) to carry on her legacy. Her faith and belief in George has been instrumental to his growth as a grounded, mature Christian and Minister. And he passes it on to you...and you pass it on...and we pass it on...
George and Brenda haven't had a big opportunity or windfall to tuck away major savings. They live humbly and for the glory of the Lord. To be able to assist with funeral, burial and George's medical costs and therapy would be amazing. We are praying to be able to meet and go above and beyond the goal to help George and his family through the financial part of this so he may heal inside and out, while continuing to inspire us all to live each day for the glory of God.
