Fire Victims - Knobbs Family (Amtrak 188 Survivor)

Donation protected
On January 10th, the Knobbs family, including Lenny (an Amtrak 188 Survivor), Marissa, Ryan, Lennie, Hulk, and Bailey, faced a devastating fire in their Plymouth Meeting, PA home, resulting in the loss of nearly all their valuables. Thankfully, everyone made it out safely, but the damage was extensive, leaving them with almost nothing salvageable. It's impossible to express the depth of their current emotions; no one ever expects such a tragedy to befall them or their loved ones until it does.

The timing was a blessing in disguise, as the fire occurred just before bedtime. Had it happened later, the outcome could have been far worse. For over a month, the family has been living in a hotel, and now a rental home, while still managing a mortgage on their uninhabitable house and rent for the temporary accommodation, to avoid staying in a cramped one-bedroom hotel room.

In times like these, those affected often struggle to know what help to seek, while friends and family may feel unsure where to start. This is where the community can make a significant impact. Whether you know the Knobbs family personally or are simply moved by their story, please consider donating any amount you can to assist them in replenishing their clothes, food, and other necessities. Your kindness and support are deeply appreciated. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
