Help for Noah - Canine Cancer

Donation protected
Many people are not aware that our wonderful Aussie Noah was diagnosed with a horrible cancer, Hemangiosarcoma, a death sentence for any dog.  Noah is the light of Diana’s life, her best friend and agility partner and she can’t imagine life without him.  She was not going to take this without a fight for her boy.  Diana found out about a study for dogs with Hemangiosarcoma at the University of Pennsylvania Penn Veterinary Medicine in Philadelphia.  She was determined to get Noah into the study.  Her mindset was that even if it kills her boy maybe he could help another dog with the same illness in the future.  Noah was accepted into the study and Diana has been driving him there every week now for months. Philadelphia is a 6 hour round trip for her and that is on a good day.  It has taken so much money to do this and trying to pay the mounting vet bills from his surgeries has become overwhelming.  She also has to miss a day of work every week to drive him there.  If he gets really sick from the treatments she has to miss yet another day of work.  We all know that missing work days every week would kill us financially plus so I, as her friend, am trying to help by setting up this page in hopes that it would fund some of the time and gas that she has spent on this mission to help other dogs in the same situation.  I thank everyone who considers even giving a dollar.  Thank you so much for considering donating for this cause.  10% of these proceeds will go toward canine cancer research.

A little on Canine Hemangiosarcoma:  Hemangiosarcoma is a very aggressive, high-grade soft tissue sarcoma with the most common areas affected being the spleen and heart.  A highly malignant cancer which preys on blood vessels, it can spread rapidly, causing tumors almost anywhere in the body. Hemangiosarcoma is insidious, as it attempts to build its own blood vessel network, making blood blister like formations which disrupts normal organ function.  It is commonly in the advanced stage before detection, making it virtually a silent killer.
