Help Our Team Build A Robot!

We are a high school robotics team, FRC 5678 Knightrise , from STEM3 Academy  in Valley Glen, California. Our school is unique. It provides a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) based curriculum to students with high-functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and other social and learning differences. Our team is equally unique, providing a ‘life-changing’ experience for students to excel in a school-based program, many for the first time in their lives.

Team Knightrise students are excited and eager to participate in the annual FIRST Robotics Competition and we need your help in raising funds!

In this competition, teams of up to 25+ students raise funds and build robots to perform prescribed tasks against competitors. In 2015, our rookie year, Team Knightrise participated in the Ventura Regional competition and won the Rookie All Star Award, advancing them to the Championship Event in St. Louis! In 2016, Team Knightrise again participated in the Ventura Regional Competition, overcoming catastrophic mechanical failuresto achieve a 34 ranking recognition by Underwriter Laboratories. In 2017, Team Knightrise looks forward to competing in the Ventura Regional, March 15 – 18, 2017.

Your support will help pay for additional parts such as wheels, gears, motors, sheet metal, as well as travel expenses to the event.  Your support will also invest in the future of students with high-functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and other social and learning differences, and provide them with a transformational experience. Plus STEM3 Academy is a 501(c) non-profit and as such, all donations are 100% tax deductible!
