Medical Fund

My Doctor would always say,"L.D. I can't make no money off of you because there is Nothing wrong with You." On October 10,2015 the narrative changed. My cousins Kench and Wendell urged Me to go to Urgent Care. I was reticent because I had not maintain Health insurance, they persisted. They also didn't hesitate to pay for the cost of the urgent care. That led to an ER visit and subsequent Hospitalization. My Bladder was Distended due to Prostate issues.After 3 days of Hospitaization I returned home from my eldest Son in Georgia to Memphis Tn. My PCP and I devised a course of action that required x-rays of my Left hip and an appointment to see a Urologist and scheduled to conference on November 2nd. On Saturday morning of October 31,2015 as I was stepping up stairs I felt the cruelest pain explode through my Left leg. An ambulance was called to transport me to the ER around 9:30 that Morning by 9:30 that Night after x-rays, CAT scan, lab work and pain medication the Doctors concluded that My left Femur was broken because Stage 4 Prostate had merged into my Bone. Presently, occupational and physical therapy are helping Me walk again. Radiation therapy will be used the remove the Cancer from the bone in the Hip surrounding the Femur. A port has been implanted for Me to receive the Chemotherapy for the Cancer in the Prostate. It appears to be a protracted fight that is ahead without benefit of Health insurance. My Doctor said, " L.D. I can't make no money of you because ain't nothing wrong with you." The dedicated Oncologist, Urologist and Orthopedic along with the Hospital deserve their money that is why I am simply asking You to give according to how your Heart leads you.
