We recently purchased these masks for our local hospital. They are now all set and we have a remaining 1300 masks available. The purpose of this GOFUNDME is not to profit on the sale of masks. We are thankful for any donations you can provide to this cause.
Our focus is going to be on giving these masks away to secondary medical facilities which are in need. My cousin visited me yesterday to pickup a few of these masks. She works at a local nursing home. They don't have proper protection against the virus putting them and the people in their facilities at risk.
For every $50 donation to this cause you will receive 2 masks for your family. We will be sending out thank you notes to all that donate. IN that email simply respond with your shipping address and we will ship two to your family. The remaining 8 masks will be donated to the local Nursing facilities staff members.
ALL additional profits after shipping expenses etc will be donated to the local soup Kitchen. Many in our local communities are not receiving enough food right now. So your donation will serve three purposes. Protect your immediate family with your own masks, donation to the local nursing home facilities and secondary medical facilities that are currently on low priority and finally to support the local food kitchen.
PLEASE NOTE: After donating please leave us a message with your address so we can drop off your masks. We will also direct mask donations to specific organizations if you tell us who you wish to support. Any location in Connecticut is FREE. If we need to ship the masks we need to charge for shipping. We can coordinate this with the donor. Thanks for the support.
