Hi, My name is Tommy Espinal. I am a 19-year-old Independent Filmmaker from New York City. Over the last couple of months, life in New York and across the globe has been very difficult for all people. Whether it being COVID, or issues within the law enforcement,  the situations we find ourselves in have been overwhelming and unfair. I hope for better days and I believe it is my responsibility, along with other artists and creators, to tell the stories of our time and the stories of us from within. Method is a story I've been wanting to tell for a long time but because of COVID, the film was put on hold.  As New York continues to reopen, I hope my team and I will have the opportunity to tell this story by the end of the summer. Method is a story about a method actor who obsesses over a career-changing audition tape in spite of his life-changing introduction to fatherhood. This is a story about the moments where obsession can lead you further away from love. My goal is to raise 3,500$ in order to produce and finance the film. The money raised will pay for all equipment, location, and props that will help bring this story to life. The money raised will also cover food and transportation for the entire cast and crew. With much gratitude and respect, I hope to give something in return for all of those who donate. To those who donate, you'll be invited to a private screening of the film at the beginning of 2021. Also, you will be receiving an exclusive copy of the behind-the-scenes making of this film. Words cannot describe how grateful I would be if we were able to reach our goal. With every dollar we raise, I hope to create something that can be felt and experienced amongst all people. Once the world returns to normal, I hope my film can serve as a way of gathering and unity, a way for people to sit in a theatre and look towards enjoying a meaningful experience, together.
