Nikita's Forever Livin' Aloha

Donation protected

Nikita Marie Hayes passed suddenly on January 20, 2015, just one day after her 25th birthday and just shy of a week following an unexpected diagnosis of breast cancer. Niki leaves behind a husband, Patrick, an active duty Marine and combat veteran, a 20-month-old daughter, Keana, and her loving parents, along with all of those she called friend.
Niki was adopted from El Salvador by her parents, Patrick and Susan Sullivan. The day this girl set foot on U.S. soil, she be began impacting lives with her infectious smile and contagious positive attitude. To have met Niki once, was to have known her.  Many of us will remember her as the first to welcome us on to the island when our husband's were stationed in Hawaii, the first to help anyone in need, and the biggest lover of leopard print and thrift sales to ever walk the planet. What we'll also remember was how much Niki loved Hawaii. So much so, one of her requests was to be returned to the islands. To assist in fulfilling her wish, let's help Nikita live the forever aloha she dreamed of!
The idea for these funds is to assist Patrick in anyway necessary and at his discretion. While the idea for the account came from our 1/3 Lava Dog Wives, we know that Niki impacted many outside of our batallion and the Marine Corps. It is our hope that just as she helped all of us at one time or another, we can come together and help her with one last request!
