Cal Roberts - Preserve Our Draper

Draper is the crown jewel of the Wasatch front. We have the most beautiful trail system in the Country and an amazing small town feel other cities envy. Our local economy is thriving and residents are invested in their community.

But we also face threats.

There are whispers that our property taxes will soon be raised.

Everyday we’re reminded of the cost of economic growth as we see new development after new development.

Traffic worsens. Over aggressive development threatens our open spaces and small town feel.

And many of us feel shut out from the decision-making process.

I am making three promises to the citizens of Draper.

1.       I will fiercely protect our open spaces and insure we maintain our small town feel

2.        I will be an independent voice on the Council. I will not accept money from any business or developer

3.       I will not raise property taxes. You worked hard for your money, I’ll work hard to protect it.

This August, we have a choice, do we settle for the same ole, same ole or do we elect bold, new leadership.
