CECO Kids Joyful Music Therapy

The Conductive Education Center of Orlando, Inc. (CECO) is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization and private school for children with motor disabilities in Winter Park. CECO offers any child with Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida or a related physical motor disorder the opportunity to be as independent as possible through school day, after school and summer camp programs. The Parent Teacher Conductor Organization (PTCO) at CECO would like your help in providing Joyful Music Therapy lessons to the students who participate in the school day program.  Music Therapy is the clinical and evidence-based use of music interventions to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship by a credentialed professional who has completed an approved music therapy program.  With your help, CECO students can participate in meaningful lessons incorporated into their conductive education programming.  We are blessed to have had a music therapist work with our students in preparation for their holiday performance.  Take a look at how the students responded.  Imagine what they could do with monthly or even weekly sessions incorporated into their conductive education program.  Thank you in advance for your donation!  We truly appreicate you.
