<div>FIRST LEGO League team de Klimluikers, samengesteld uit twee basisscholen; Het Drieluik en SBO De Klimop te Almere, heeft een geweldige prestatie geleverd door als eerste te eindigen in de landelijke finale van de competitie. Het team heeft hiermee een ticket weten te bemachtigen voor het FIRST LEGO League (FLL) World Festival in Houston, USA.

<div>Het team bestaat uit 8 leerlingen uit groep 6 t/m 8. Samen heeft het team maandenlang hard gewerkt aan de voorbereidingen voor deze wedstrijd. Tijdens deze wedstrijd bouwen en programmeren de leerlingen een LEGO robot om diverse missies uit te voeren. Daarnaast verdiepen zij zich in een maatschappelijk onderwerp waarbij zij een innovatieve oplossing voor een bestaand probleem aandragen. Dit doen zij door middel van een ludieke presentatie.

<div>Om deel te nemen aan dit internationale toernooi, waarbij wij Nederland mogen vertegenwoordigen hebben wij een enorm bedrag nodig, namelijk €30.000,-. Dit kunnen wij niet alleen. Om deze reden zal het team in de komende dagen diverse acties uitzetten om zo veel mogelijk geld bij elkaar te verzamelen. Elk bedrag, groot of klein, helpt ons dichter bij ons doel te komen!
