Hello everyone,
We are Dan and Michelle Klenck, and we long to give a loving permanent home to a child. To do that, we are needing to raise $15,000 to pay the initial balance of our agency adoption expense and help get us closer to giving a child a secure home. We started our adoption journey by way of private adoption and recently switched to utilizing an adoption agency. Many of your have been on this journey with us for the past year, and we appreciate your support, prayers and encouragement. Now to get to the finish line!
We knew we wanted children, and after a time we were able to conceive our daughter, Lila, who was born in 2013. We hoped for more children, and after some miscarriages, we began to consider adoption. Throughout our lives we have been involved with families who have adopted children. It has been amazing to see how God worked in the lives of everyone involved. We began to see how God could use us to love and encourage an adopted child and birth parents, as well as everyone involved!
To tell you a little about ourselves, we met in October 2010 at our church. We married in July 2011. We have lived in Northern Virginia for several years, are active in our neighborhood and community, and attend a local bible church. We enjoy biking, hiking, swimming, and general exploring ! Our daughter, Lila, enjoys her dolls, dollhouse, playing at the playground, her cousins, grandparents, and of course her friends! Lila prays for a baby sister (and baby brother) and talks of how she would help feed and dress her. Lila says, "I want to kiss her, hold her and read her a book." She is ready for that sweet baby!
As you may know, adoption can be expensive. We have started this fundraising campaign to help us make a dent in the $25,000 total adoption fee that we are facing.
