Jerod England's Passing Fund

Donation protected
I am putting together this Gofundme to help raise money for the expenses related to our friend Jerod that unexpectedly passed Monday 11/2/15. The funds raised will go to help cover any expenses for his wife. Hopefully we can raise some decent money ASAP. It would mean so much to his wife, our community of friends, the industrial music community that he was so passionate about, and myself if you donated. Below I will add some posts from his wife and myself. There will always be a huge hole in our community with him gone.

I have some incredibly bad news. I'm sorry, I don't know how to do this; I've never had to do it before. I've always been the kind to just rip a bandaid off, so.

Jerod England is dead. He died between 2-5am Monday November 2nd, not long after we got home from the Youth Code/Skinny Puppy show. The ME said there's no obvious reason & therefore it'll be six months minimum before they're able to tell me what happened. When I know, you will.

He was my husband, my best friend, often my only confidante, and the only true partner I've ever had. It feels like there's a smoldering hole in my chest where my heart used to be.

But, I couldn't sit with it alone anymore, now that his family all knows, and there's more than a few of you here that needed to know. I'm really sorry, everyone. I did everything I could to save him, but it was too late.

Jerod: I am not much of a writer, especially for circumstances like this, but I feel I need to put something down. Your passion for music was unmatchable. I always enjoyed discussing it with you, even though you would always supersede me with knowledge. I have known you for years and you were always a compassionate individual. I am grateful that I took the two minutes out of my day to help do my part to get you and Angeline to the Skinny Puppy and YOUTH CODE show. This came to be your last attendance. While your passing is confusing, I do know this. Having Youth Code and Skinny Puppy be your last concert, is well, in a weird way fitting and probably how you would have wanted it if you could have chosen. I am glad you were there. I regret not speaking with you more that night, but that’s is a continuing theme of this year…take the time out of your day to talk to the people around you. No matter how quickly. Everything can change in an instant. I am sure I could think of 100 quotes from that show, but I think the most appropriate for this situation would be Youth code: “Let the flames of your life engulf you”. (Which hit me hard that night) Your passion for the music in your life did engulf you, right up to the end. Goodbye.
