Hi, my name is Caitlin and I've started this GoFundMe for my dad who has been battling prostate cancer for about 3 years. He did a round of chemo to start with and initially it made it less aggressive but over the last year all his levels have been all over the place! In the last couple of months, he has been in heaps of pain and at the last appointment the doctor has told us it has gotten aggressive again, with the main source of his cancer in his prostate, but it has now traveled to his bones including his ribs, sternum and lungs.

Our options for treatment are pretty limited at this stage but the doctor has advised of another treatment which is unfortunately not covered by any government subsidies and carries a price tag of $9000 per round. With this treatment there is a 65% chance of it working where if he does chemo again there is only a 35% chance of it working. During the appointment the doctor also told him that if he had to estimated how much time we have left, it was looking like 6 months which is down from 11 months he thought he was working with.

Please help raise this money to give my dad a fighting chance - we're not ready to give up yet!
