Give Kristin's life back!

Kristin Kennedy Bremer, needs medical and financial help. In the year 2014, she had to have inguinal hernia surgery. Within months, she began experiencing physical pain due to recurring urological infections. She began to seek assistance from medical specialists and surgeons. The discovery was made in April of 2016 of fissures and fistulas in her intestines and female organs. Over the last 1 1/2 years, mom has had several tests run and 8 surgeries, one of which was an ostomy, in attempt to repair her maladies. Unfortunately, she also has a parastomal hernia from the ostomy surgery. Even though she has seen numerous specialists and surgeons, none of them have determined her exact diagnoses, and none of them have succeeded in resolving her health issues.  The surgeons now highly recommend she travel out of state to specialized institutes that have treated her specific health conditions. Hopefully, a specialist somewhere can identify and correct the issues and later reverse the ostomy. Suggestions are for The Cleveland Clinic, in Cleveland, Ohio; MD Anderson in Houston, Texas; or 1 of 3 Mayo Clincs in the US. Traveling will certainly further complicate our family's financial situation.   Mom was a stay at home mom (2002-2011) for my 2 younger brothers and me until my parents divorced. She left behind activities leadership to return to the workforce. She had worked as a Public Schools paraprofessional for Special Needs students since 2012 and loves that line of work! Due to all these unexplainable ailments, she is unable to perform normal daily tasks like walking, standing or sitting for extended periods of time. Ultimately, mom's disabilities led to her forced resignation in October 2017 and loss of all health insurance benefits.   Mom is in desperate need of many more tests and surgeries to repair her medical issues. Please help us by donating funding. Any amount will help. We are striving to meet a minimum of $50,000. Donations will help to cover outstanding and upcoming medical bills and procedures, as well as her daily ostomy supplies, and monthly COBRA premiums.  My mom is WAY too young to retire and simply exist.
