HOPE FOR HUNTER

Hunter was diagnosed with Grade 3 Anaplastic Pleomorphic Xanthroastycoma which is a rare brain cancer, on His 16th birthday on December 31st of 2019, since then he has underwent 2 brain surgeries to remove tumors and he completed 30 Radiation treatments. We got a small break from treatment for a few weeks but are scheduled to go back to the Children's Hospital on May 17th to begin a clinical trial Chemotherapy combination of drugs because there is no FDA approved drugs or standard of treatment for the type of cancer that Hunter has. Depending on how he tolerates the Chemo, we will be gone another 4-6 weeks at least and we aren't really sure past that. Hopefully the chemo works and we will be able to finish the two years of initial treatment at home and only have to fly down for check ups and scans every other month or two.
