To the Class of 2020 at Minneapolis North High School,
We recognize this has been a challenging time to celebrate your many accomplishments at NHS. So many lasts and fun times were taken from you because of Covid-19 and the killing of George Floyd. Against all odds you made it!
Some graduates from the Class of 1989 are creating this Go Fund Me account so that alumni and anyone else whose heart is speaking to them can show their support. We want to reconfirm that as you go out into the community, workplaces, or future schools that you are not alone. There are over 100 years of NHS graduates that have gone before you, we all are extremely proud of each and everyone of you.
Our plan is to evenly divide the money raised between the 51 of you that graduated this year. We are hoping to raise at least $100 per graduate. Congratulations and we wish you the best in your future!
