Kiwanis Huntington Beach Trailer Replacement

Kiwanis Club of Huntington Beach California began “Serving the Children of the World” in 1961. It’s a club of 70+ members who conduct year round events, raising funds used to provide various benefits for local youth. These include our Christmas time “Shop for HOPE”, providing clothing & gifts for disadvantaged children, beach playground construction, book reading programs, a large Scholarship program for High School students, youth group Key club assistance, Fishing Derby for special needs children, projects for homeless and abused children, Angel Program for special cases, and many other worthwhile programs to assist young people in our community.
We are in immediate need of $17,500 to replace our aging (25+ years) Service Trailer that has rusted out, is falling apart, and become unsafe. Above is a picture of our trailer during it’s “better days in past years”. We must raise this amount by August 31, 2019. Our foundation is a 501c3, making any donation you make fully tax deductible.
The trailer is used to store items we use in all of our numerous events like “Family Fun Day Carnival & Easter Egg Hunt”; 4th of July Pancake breakfast at HB Parade, Fishing Derby for special needs children, and other special events.
