It is time.
It is time to come along aside three children who have seen both their parents called to heaven in less than three years.
Anne stood by her husband, Kevin, as he valiantly battled with cancer and passed away to glory in 2017. On August 7th, Anne unexpectedly died on her way to a routine doctor's appointment. Anne's family, Kevin's family, Virginia Beach community, JMU and high school friends, and Chad (who reignited love and joy for Anne) have joined together to meet this difficult moment and support this funding request.
Kevin and Anne's three kids (Sam, Ben, and Emma) have been uncommonly blessed to have loving parents. They have experienced unconditional love from two exceptional people. They have also endured so much pain in losing both of their parents . . . and our hearts are broken for them.
We have an opportunity to support them with our prayers and our generosity during this difficult season. We need to gather resources to ensure that Kevin's and Anne's hopes for their kids become a reality (college expenses, launching their kids into their vocations, and basic living expenses).
We have set up this fund to raise money to supplement the Kittrell kids' current resources and meet their future needs. The funds will be administered by Anne's brother (the executor of her estate) for the benefit of the three children.
Please consider how you might join in this effort to express encouragement, love, and support to Sam, Ben, and Emma as they grapple with life without parents. Thankfully their extended family is there to support them . . . and we should be too.
