Kitten Louis needs help for his crooked legs

Louis was recently handed over into the care of All Cats Rescue when he was just 6 weeks of age. He was extremely poorly, so he was provided with immediate vet attention, and prescribed much-needed antibiotics for a bad respiratory infection, which he is now recovering from.

 

Unfortunately, Louis was born with deformed front legs (see video below), and - in order to know exactly what his condition is, and how he can be helped – he will need to be examined by a specialist orthopaedic vet and have x-rays taken (as recommended and referred by a general vet).

 

The estimate from our nearest specialist hospital for this initial assessment and for x-rays is approximately £600.

 

Louis is an ordinary kitten in every other sense. He is very playful, and he zooms around as best he can whenever he feels the need. We want to ensure that he will have the best chance as he grows up, especially as there will be more weight on his bent legs as he get bigger.
