<div><strong>Audrey and I were joined in a church wedding on April 11, 1987</strong>, at Metropolitan Community Church of San Francisco (pictured above). Both of us were 29 years old.

<div>It took another 29 years for the law to catch up with our ground-breaking lesbian love. After decades of activism for LGBTQ rights and marriage equality, <strong>we were finally able to marry legally on May 4, 2016</strong>, in a private civil ceremony at the Beverly Hills Courthouse.
