<div>Hi, my name is Natalie Rosenburg and I am Kirstin’s longest friend (sounded better than oldest). I am also one of her biggest fans for the last 54+ years. Back near the end of October, Kirstin was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. As this is ‘treatable and beatable’, she began a chemo treatment called Pola-R-CHP mid-November. Shortly after her second chemo infusion (mid-December), Kirstin was admitted through the ER for horrific pain. Turned out to be a bowel perforation. Grateful to be out of the hospital, just in time for Christmas, Kirstin is still in an awful amount of pain and is now trying to heal from abdominal surgery, on top of everything else!

<div>Kirie is beyond resilient and has overcome a lot, especially in these last couple years. She is also blessed with an amazing family. Her sister Britt, her parents and many friends have been wonderfully supportive and incredibly helpful. However, more help is needed. A cancer diagnosis doesn’t account for tons of time missed from work, yet the day-to-day expenses remain, and are overwhelming at the moment. There isn’t a part time job that anyone can get to cover this. So far, the diagnosis alone has resulted in over thousands and thousands dollars in medical bills, crazy medication co-pays, topped with two ER visits, both which resulted in extended inpatient hospital stays. We have no idea what all the medical needs will total, in addition to how much more time will be missed from work = extra bills with lesser income. To date, Kirstin is only 1/3 finished with the prescribed chemo regimen.
