Kirkham family needs support

On August 9, the Kirkham family lost a husband, father, grandfather,  Marine, friend, and an all-around good guy.  Michael Kirkham meant so much to so many people in this world and his passing left a void for his wife, children and so many others.

Their home was about family, fun, games and goofiness. But that home is in a house that needs attention.  Built in 1999, the house knows it is reaching its 20th year and is behaving like a neglected child.  The past few weeks have been challenging enough but with electrical circuits acting up, toilets leaking, and both air conditioners showing their age, the family is in need of some help. 

G has been a rock for so many people, lifting up friends and family when tragedies and simple needs had to be met.  She's the solid leader for a Girl Scout troop of her daughter's 8th grader friends and her son's  Cub Scout den. She's good at her job and great with people. She's been amazing with our family when we need help and can no longer hold a conversation with our 8th grader.  And she doesn't want to ask for help but we know that a 20-year old house needs some attention.  So many people have asked how they can help.

We want to use the power of many to help G and the kids. Our primary goal is to get a new HVAC system purchased but there are other incidentals. It would be awesome to get some landscaping revamped around the house and add a fence for their super sweet puppy Milo too!  

Any amount will be supporting them and help to lessen worries in the days, months and years to come.  Thank you for your thoughts and prayers for this amazing family that has to adjust to a new normal, where Michael will live on in their hearts.
