Kirk's and Sancho's Employee Relief Fund

Kirk's Steak-burgers and Sancho's Taqueria are well known in our community for providing support for local youth programs, friendly faces, and of course, delicious food. 

However COVID-19 has taken a significant toll on their financial stability and has left employees forced to choose between necessities. As Kirk’s owner Rick Juncker explained to us, “The idea of choosing between food or insurance or your rent is brutal…[these are] real choices some are facing.” With average rent in the area at $2500 a month and unemployment assistance checks of just $350 a week, employees are faced with an impossible equation. 


For all these restaurants have provided for our communities, it is our responsibility to return the favor and support them to the best of our ability.  The HERO Swim Team has partnered with these restaurant owners to ensure that every dollar donated will go directly to the employees and their families.
