On behalf of his family and loved ones, this page has been established in response to the unexpected passing of Kirk Byam, to ask for your help in mourning him.
I am honored that Kirk’s parents have asked me to launch this fundraiser, just as it was an honor to know and love Kirk. I write this devastated. How is the love of my life gone at such a young age…leaving his parents and daughters planning his funeral?
Kirk passed away at home on the morning of May 8th. His obituary, and information on services is posted with O'Donnell Funeral Home of Lowell, MA and can be found by clicking here. Given these uncertain times, services will be limited but we look forward to a time when we can get together in a much more open capacity to celebrate Kirk’s life with you.
For now, if you are looking for a way to honor Kirk's memory, please consider helping to make sure those most impacted by his sudden passing are able to grieve and honor him without compromise. I know that as you read this you are still reeling from the shock of this sudden loss too, so you can understand how we were not prepared for this responsibility.
I know that this fundraiser is what would matter most to Kirk...making sure his Mother and Daughters - and those of us standing beside them – have what they need to say goodbye. Kirk would be proud, but not surprised, to know that his loved one’s have this ability because of you and your generosity.
Please know that we hope the funds raised here will cover final arrangements in full. Any excess funds raised will be used to further support and nourish the family through their grieving process.
