I have been doing cheerleading for 12 years, and it has always been my dream to attend the World Championships in Florida. This year in June, my team and I won a bid to be able to go to the Worlds in 2026 to compete at Level 7 (the highest level in cheerleading). We now have the chance to compete against the best teams in America and others from around the World. Cheerleading had full recognition from the Olympic committee in 2021, however it is still a self- funded sport therefore we have to make up the money ourselves for flights, accommodation and entry fees. As a team, we are doing different fundraisers to help aid our journey, I have decided that I will be climbing Pen Y Fan before we go at the end of April. If anyone would like to help me out on the journey to Florida, it would be the biggest help! Any donations, even small would be appreciated, these will go towards my fees. Each donation, no matter how small, makes a huge difference in helping me get there and chase this amazing opportunity that means so much to me.
