A Brief Introduction…
Hi! Thanks for stopping by. My name is Kira Alexi. I’m releasing my debut “Bliss” EP - produced by the one and only John Avila - on Halloween (spooky!). My band and I need YOUR help to make our dreams come true.
My Story…
I am an 18 year old alternative rock American/Filipino singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Born and raised in Hong Kong, I took a leap of faith and moved to Los Angeles at 16 years old to pursue my dreams. Although I write my songs by myself, they come alive all thanks to my beautiful band consisting of the most hard-working and talented musicians you’ll ever meet. Aldo Vidal (Lead Guitar), Juano Argüello (Bass) and Tim Gaisser (Drums) come from a progressive metal background and bring their influences to the table too. I feel so lucky and honored to be able to make magic with these guys. They are my best friends who keep me going when times get tough and believe in me even when sometimes, I don’t. None of this would be possible without them.
My musical style is greatly influenced by Paramore, Three Days Grace, Bring Me the Horizon, From Indian Lakes, Jeff Buckley and Lana del Rey. Through my music I hope to reflect the message of strength through adversity, and a sense of empathy and open-mindedness towards mental health issues.
I’ve been dreaming of realizing my music since the first time I saw Avril Lavigne on MTV in 2002. Although you see my name on this campaign, the truth is this EP is the culmination of every single person who has and will continue to inspire and believe in me throughout my life. It’s been a long time coming and it feels so surreal to be this close to releasing something I’m finally so proud of. There are not enough ways to say thank you - but we can start by these rewards for your contributions:
