Kira Nicholson recovery fund

12 year old Kira Nicholson, daughter of Mike and Sheliah Nicholson, of Salyer CA was visiting a friend in Hawkins Bar CA on June 25,2017 when she was involved in a car accident. Kira was transported to a local hospital by ambulance. It was later determined that she was suffering from a broken collar bone and multiple pelvis fractures. She was then transported by air to UC Davis and will under go surgery to repair her pelvis and collar bone today. She is facing at least 12 weeks of recovery. The Doctors are anticipating that Kira will need several surgeries in the future to repair the damage sustained in the accident. Mike and Sheliah are by her side at UC Davis. Mike is a wildland fire fighter for the US Forest Service in Salyer, Sheliah is a paramedic for the Hoopa Ambulance and unfortunatly they have both been placed on medical leave themselves and have been unable to work for the past month. this family is in need of financial help right now so they can stay by their daughters side while she recovers in the hospital.
