SUPPORT REQUEST FOR KINWOOD AND MYRA DEVORE

Greetings to all and thank you for visiting our page.  We are the Devore family (the children) and we're attempting to raise money for our parents whom most of you know, Kinwood and Myra Devore.  They have spent a lifetime in church leadership and are now in need of your assistance through this Go Fund Me page.
 

THE DEVORES: THE CURRENT CRISIS

Kinwood and Myra Devore have both suffered serious health setbacks over the past year with ongoing medical and continued care costs mounting faster than any of us could’ve anticipated.  With your help we want to alleviate the burdens of their medical care at this time.

Myra was diagnosed with  Multiple Myeloma  (a type of cancer) as of July 2018 and has been fighting for her life ever since.  Through chemotherapy, dialysis, blood transfusions, and prayer, she has remained strong and optimistic.  She is currently in a 24 hour care facility for her ongoing treatment.

Kinwood has suffered through untreated high blood pressure and has had several strokes which have greatly diminished his ability to function and minister the way he has in the past.  He requires specific assistance in many areas but is remaining optimistic and is still looking forward to a long, rewarding career as a running back for the San Francisco 49ers football team.  Yes, we will be re-checking his meds!

Both Kinwood and Myra Devore, through their decades of tireless devotion and servitude, have grown to become inspirations to so many.  If you were hungry, you knew who to call.  If you were hurting, you knew who to call.  If you were in need of a smile, a baptism, a funeral…you knew who to call.

We want to thank you for considering a donation toward our financial goals for Kinwood and Myra Devore.  These medical situations are quite serious and as emergencies go, it was extremely unexpected.  We are doing our best to help our parents and are now extending this need to our church family and friends.  Kinwood and Myra are NOT expecting or asking for anything from anyone.  We want to preserve their dignity so we would like to discreetly put a financial foundation beneath them to cover their mounting health care cost.  Your donation will allow them access to the health care they require, secure permanent housing (currently renting an apartment and/or in 24 hour care), and allow them to recuperate.  Please join us in this endeavor and may God bless you.

Myra Devore has finally made it back home and is recovering slowly but surely!!!!  We are still working on both Kinwood and Myra's recovery and continued care so please keep them in your prayers.  We are continuing to raise money for this and we thank you so much for your help.
