Kenny is a 17 year old boy who suffered multiple seizures on the first day of his senior year in high school. After emergency brain surgery and an angiogram it was determined that he suffers from a condition known as AVM (Arteriovenous Malformation). He has been improving but still has a very long road ahead with a lot of physical therapy, radiation and various other medical treatments. He will soon be transported from the hospital he is in to a live-in rehab/hospital facility that is located 35 miles one-way from his home, which is an hour drive in Orlando with traffic. Any help you provide will go towards his parents in order to maintain medical and travel expenses during this difficult time. On behalf of Kenny’s family, thank you for your help! We are trying to get Kenny back to playing basketball with his friends and finishing up his senior year of high school!
Kenny's mother (Kasinda) and I have known each other since we went to high school together at Lake Brantley 20 years ago. The same high school Kenny is trying to finish his senior year at right now. Kasinda doesn't have a reliable vehicle to transport Kenny back and forth to his occupantional therapy & speech therapy each week now that he has been released home from in-house rehab. My hope is that these funds will contribute to paying for the medical expenses, including therapy co-pays each week as well has help to make sure she arrives there with a functioning car. Whether that be a rental or helping to repair the one she has so that Kenny isn't delayed in his treatment and can get back to school sooner.
